@Muheani,

First of all you need to note that these shares cannot be traded with OTC for the moment. the register was closed in january.

Secondly, these shares have already been split. I would advise you to collect your new cerificate of (500*20) 1,000 shares, immobilize them and wait to trade in NSE probably in May 2012.

There is no other way to dispose them unless you want to con people with invalid share certicates.

@Luxel....are the new post split certificates out?Have they been sent on mail?

Unless someone wants to con others,I believe the next time one can buy/sell CIC shares is at the NSE after introduction.
Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

Iam no conman. Your Point of information was quite good. I dont hold any CIC shares but a friend in shags has. So was asking for him.

I have called the shares admin in CIC and confrimed what you said. And the trading will only be possible when they start trading at NSE.

The guy wanted to sell off part of his holding....to buy a cow that is!!
