Just take a normal flash drive and use TrueCrypt. It is open source. While at it, you can use it to encrypt even your comp's drive.

its out already..got an 8gb replica with all the features..everything ni china siku hizi..even apple ipods and products are done in china..designed at california but made in china

There are quite a number of free (open source) passwords protection and encrypting applications... Dont know how they can sell a flash disk on the strength of that feature alone.
