Thanks all for your reply .let me try to look for stock brokers around.thanks

You're not listening.
Bridge the information gap between you and your broker before you commit your funds. Dont go ask your broker "so, what should I buy" without having some idea of what you want to invest in and why. Your broker will make money whether your stocks are up or down, whether you're buying a BAT or the battery/pampers maker. And didnt you say you've been saving the funds you want to invest for 2 years? The stock market is not forgiving. You can wipe out months of sweat by throwing your cash at someone and expecting them to babysit it for you.

+1 on @Mukiha's comment on Blue Chips.

KCB at the moment is a good example.. lots of threads discussing that too.

If you know nothing about stock market, then stick to blue chips and invest long-term [10+years]. Don't attempt to "play the market".

One thing about stock market, you may feel you know everything and ready to dive, in real sense you know nothing and you will realise this in the next 5 years or so....

Good advice, if I was you I would open up a couple of books. Then I would utilize the wealth of knowledge in Wazua, you are being lazy by just asking what to invest in instead of finding out how to go about picking good companies. You have a choice, you can choose the lazy route and have someone else invest for you (unit funds) while you pay them for their mediocre performance. Or you can research for yourself, read everything you can on investing, and manage your own money. Bad news is you will lose some money along the way, good news is it will be a cheaper lesson than if you entrusted it to a fund manager, plus you will horne your skills at every turn.

When it comes to stocks investment, there are a lot to learn, regardless of how much you know.

It is a life long process, but the good news is that the hardest part of the process is the begining. Once you make the commitment, life really does get easier and easier.
