I would also exploit the lacuna in the law if I were scom. Who regulates them - CCK? CBK? Since the Competitions Authority is in a coffin, they can even charge more and you wouldn't do jack.

With three other mobile money transfer services available in the market; I think that anyone who thinks MPESA is too expensive can always use the others. It's a free market and providers are free to charge as much as they wish! Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

I’m not a specialist in these things but I feel that this might be a bad idea for Scom. And since MJ left they no longer seem to be as innovative as they used to be.

I read this somewhere "if you want to withdraw 200 (now costs 25/), withdraw 100/ twice & save 5bob. If you want to withdraw 10k (now costs 145/)withdraw it twice i.e 7500 (cost 75bob) & 2500 (cost 25bob), you save 45bob. If you want to withdraw 40k (now costs 250/) withdraw it twice i.e 35k (cost 170) & 5k (cost 60/),you save 20 bob
