Stanchart westlands branch. I withdrew 12k and got 14k.
Stanchart Moi avenue:i withdrew 25k and got 22k.
For me, counting is a must.

why bother counting? its not like the bank will advance you whatever didnt come out. i once got a fake note from an atm. when i went to complain, the manager asked me 'how can we be sure the note came out of our atm?'

at times the notes are put in the wrong casing in the atm hence that mix up. u may find that instead of dispensing 500 notes it gives you 1000 notes.. if this happens when the bank is doing its reconciliation and detects that, they will deduct the extra from your account immediately without any notice....

KCB has always had issues with their systems. I know at some point you could withdraw from the counter and immediately dash to the ATM and by then the balance on the ATM was not up to date, so at least u could advance yourself the maximum withdrawable from the the ATM.

And their foolproof high tech way of handling this was to endure that you surrendered your ATM at the counter with the teller before withdrawing.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Withdrew some money from a Coop ATM and got a fake 1k note. Complained, manager told me he will make some calls only to later tell me, "I have been informed our ATMs cannot dispense fake notes!" wtf??? It just did mother... shut your mouth!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
