It it is more than 3 pages.......unless you are a professor citing works you have authored.

Well i can talk in-terms of London, this is big business here, with fees ranging from £200 p/cv to £800. However in my experience if you want a job in the Sqaure mile or the Wharf without getting a proffessional CV service then you are toast ask me i know i have been using them for 4 years now so do all my mates here. Or how else do you think your UoN degree will be recognised above Warwick,LSE,iNsead,Yale or worse whereby they don't your recognise CPA!!

I concur. It is more like PR. You can do it yourself, in which case you may make mistakes and end up saying what you did not intend, or get a professional who manages your image. It usually has nothing to do with performance but has everything to do with perception.


I agree too, you need all the help you can get. Some companies are using CV and resume scanning and filtering software. A professional writer can help you get your resume to filter on top, which might give you a chance to make your case why you are the best candidate for the job.
