She has confessed that she has breast cancer and jetted to the US for treatment. Is it a coincidence that the two ministers who are charged with Health and public services have cancer?

The worst thing is our health ministers have no confidence with our hospitals and have to seek treatment abroad.

My sentiments exactly and here a poor kenyan somewhere with cancer has hopes of surviving the cancer.
We need leaders who will strive and make the systems better for all Kenyans and echo the same thing done by that tourist minister who did bungee jumping to reassure tourists that despite the fall it was still okay to go bungee jumping.

When Ngilu was Health Minister she was for some time admitted at KNH. That said, I wouldnt risk my life just to prove a point. If I can afford it, I would get the best healthcare even if I was the boss at MoH

Our health sector is just in chaos. I don't think those in charge have a clue how people suffer in those hospitals or if they do then they care less

And the government wants us to sign up for a national health insurance. Arghhh!!!! Let them first proof that they can run the health sector. Do not blame the minister, medical tourism is spread worldwide

I think it's coincidence. Further more they're different categories of cancer. The sad thing is they have both confirmed to us that they have no confidence in the Kenyan health sector by going abroad to get treatment they claim is offered here.

BBI will solve it

There is a rumour doing the rounds on twirrer that she has passed on. Not sure how true this is. Others said to be in not so good health conditions are Kamotho JJ, Kivuitu, Anyang Nyongo & Kimunya. Again these are just rumours nothing concreate so nobody should eat me alive.
