Imagine two days of lost business due to power failure for the better part of the two days. The Power company wouldn't even bother to tell us what is wrong or even make an effort at restoring power back. Then imagine the damage caused to our economy when there is never a single 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply in kenya. We will never achieve Vision 2030 if we are going to depend on Kenya Power to cater for our electricity needs. Kwani hiyo mitambo yao imezeeka? Waipeleke museum.

Maybe because it has started raining? KPLC/KENGEN always seem to have problems when the dams are full or filling up. Two of the most incompetent organisations in Kenya! Shame on you
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

The saddest and funniest thing is that we're even toying with the idea of doing a 24hr economy in the dark. I'm wondering whether the businessmen will be cops or thugs.

BBI will solve it

I have also wondered why there are more hours without electricity when it rains given that ours is mostly hydro based generation.

Laughing out loudly I guess the water seeps into the transformers hence the power outages

Unnecessary outages should be an exception rather than the norm. If the power company was serious about it's job kenya would be a much better place to live and invest in. They should be quick to get things back to order if there is a problem the way they are quick to increase our bills citing forex and fuel cost adjustments when the shilling is in trouble and oil prices rise.

LOL!
But we should be comparing ourselves with e.g Scandanavian countries where power outages are an alien term. When we sit and compare ourselves to such as Nigeria we will never demand better
