U got it, you better run and never look back.

maybe for sure you dont seem to know what to do with your money.dont blame your bro 100%.you are also to blame.get married, show everyone(especially family) you have no spare cash...all your cash is planned for.use lawyers and reputable companies to buy property directly.you dont have to cut links with your bro or family..he will always be your brother. All you need to do is be firm and as someone has said before show tough love..focus on your goals not on your brother's goals..Once they notice your new stand you will be respected and no one will joke with your money.....another thing,I dont even understand how you can think of paying fees for his kids..Nkt!!
Hope is not a strategy

@yva. today you can do so much in kenya through other means without having to involve family.you can buy shares, treasuries, deposit money into your bank account(from abroad) even do property deals with trusted reputable lawyers n property companies. You have gotten sound advice from all the above responses, now the ball is in your court hope u make the right decision for yourself n future.

I second this. Nowadays, one can make investments without relying on relatives. Personally I work away from Kenya and I dont use relatives for my transactions. Relatives have a sense of entitlement and many are just parasites. I avoid them if I can. If you have no children in Kenya, you can do your things from that end. The problem comes when you have your own children in Kenya to support and the support must be channeled through somebody. Currently I use a trusted friend and she has never let me down. I feel very indebted to her. But business money, I just do online transactions. Cheers!
