I have a business idea (printing industry) that requires about Kshs. 200,000/- to acquire some equipment but I dont have the capital. Was thinking of directing my marketing efforts in setting up a website that would market my services and hopefully help me raise the needed capital.

In the meantime, until I am fully established, I would be subcontracting some of the work I may receive from my website.

My dilemma,.. is it wise to set up a website before the business itself is up and running.

Appreciate any advice

You are asking the wrong question.

You should ask: Is a website the most effective marketing channel?

BTW: How will you drive potential customers to your website?
