And some Cartoonists here have held AK from 30 to 4.5 and it still doesn't hit them that its a lot more to do with Fundamentals (real life) than Cartoons! I hate Cartoons

funny enough another 'cartoonist ' will hold the stock from 4 bob to 30 bob . life is really funny ! when some fundamentalists are calling for kcb @ 90 bob in a bear market . some people need to go for a brain checkup or just be dumped at mathare mental hospital !

Do these cartoonists really have any money left to reinvest after all the losses that came from listening to the main cartoonist's (aka @qw & @the deal) advice¿¿ QW25091985 wrote: when some fundamentalists are calling for kcb @ 90 bob in a bear market . some people need to go for a brain checkup or just be dumped at mathare mental hospital !
The fundamentalists calling for 90bob are waiting for 2015 and beyond.. Thats why fundmental always destroys technical in the long term.. Not to mention its a whole less stressful than T.A... Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

Having invested on the ZSE for 3yrs of hyper inflation where a stock could be up 500% in a day, believe me Cartoonists who are also usually Speculators would be poor & tapped out in a year's time.

Soo sad this Great thread started by @Hisah in H22011 has turned out to be a showdown between techies and fundies! Okay, with the 91day T/Bills having gone below 20% for the first time since late Dec 2011,will this signal a topping out of the interest rates and a bottoming out of the NSE? @SufficientlyP

I would think its a healthy showdown proving all roads lead to Cairo.

Well it was going to boil over eventually. Candle in the wind ha, ha. Its a good discussion, the T.A guys help, the fundies really really help in the long run. Depends on your loss and risk, appetite. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

I was searching for an old T.A vs. F.A thread when I bumped into this quote from Much Know. I hadn't even seen the thread before. Much Know on Tuesday, February 09, 2010 wrote:Take the following quotes from Buffett (even though not cited his stance is well known, ok quotes are from wikipedia) Warren Buffett has said, "I realized technical analysis didn't work when I turned the charts upside down and didn't get a different answer" and "If past history was all there was to the game, the richest people would be librarians." there is what i would call an objective statement on wikipedia on technical analysis http://en.wikipedia.org/...ysis#Empirical_evidence
Did Buffett really say that upside down thing? GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

Just watch oil prices and ze power bill to determine if inflation collapses to single digits. Gok funding issues with cbk unable to print rain & oil, makes it very tricky to lower cbr & keep USDKES at 80s. Also keep a close eye on ze banks esp those that will be forced to do a rights issue. A positive so far is interbank rate has eased from 20s level.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!
