The battle for cheap broadband is on! Orange have announced a Sh1 per MB tariff,in what they are calling Kenya's most affordable internet bundle,and say they have doubled the speeds

Even with double the speeds... I had 90kbps 3 months ago. So even 180 kbps is not good enough. Safaricom is more expensive but works better if you want instant gratification.

Sounds good. But remember your remaining megabytes get lost if you don't use everything by the expiry date. There is no option of extending the life of you bundle by topping up with a small bundle

4Gbs from safcon is 2,500 x 4 = 10,000 while same is 4,000 from Orange BUT if you are like me... speed is king... Some people are OK with slower connections... then go with cheaper option. Lakini safcon has new 200/day for unlimited. So far the speeds are OK (slow at times) but even better than the Orange bundle.
