If you land at JKIA from Asian countries,the KRA guys will definitely insist on checking ur bags. Like Pablo & Wendz have said,remove the(price and other) tags and pack the (clothes) in ur bag such that your dirty shoes and used socks will be on top.

From European countries,just walk confidently towards those KRA guys,and appear like you want to surrender ur luggage to them for inspection....they just ask u what's in it and let you walk away....

if its electronics,better use Salihia Cargo and go collect ur stuff at Eastleigh. @ 260 per KG

Yes am a slow walker,but i never walk backwards.(anonymous)

Dear SKerians,I was challenged to say what is 'Kenyan' well... I am shocked that people bring cereals (kweli..) into Kenya!!! Just look at your Nakumatt or Uchumi & you will see that Kenyans dont even support the local food industry.

@Mazy

I had the same issue once where I was asked 'Mzee leo umetuletea nini?' and I replied 'Greetings from Europe'. They laughed and waved me through.

when asked if I have anything to declare,I say 'Yes,I declare I have nothing to declare'...then again,sometimes you find a stiff person who does not get it and we proceed to sift through a week of dirty clothes...

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less
