broken record..people have complained since mosaic days on this crap and it's still there...si I hear mwalimu ameokoka? #justasking

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I wish all mats were like Double M, no radio no nothing. As for those who tune to Classic Fm, i have no mercy for you. I have listened to a single fm station since 1999, Capital Fm. I avoid any mat with radio just coz of the stations they tune to, if not Classic, its Ghetto or Kiss. If there is no law that can put those two [of Classic in the morning] behind bars, its high time a bill was drafted.

i think people love listening to this station, if they didnt, the would have moved to court or politely/violently asked the driver to change the station.

@mukiha, for sure what got the toothless dog, media council, barking was the discussion by the lady gloryifying her being generous with her booty, and that most of her friends do the same... its just sickening. I know of 2 corporates who have pulled off their advertising from Classic. i guess they need to set parameters, na khalfafa aache machozi ya krokodile...its just disgusting...

I think anybody that does not find the show offensive has their moral compass pointing in the wrong direction. If they want to discuss that nonsense, they should move that show to midnight.

....to equate married women to prostitutes and have some people here on the forum support that is a complete lack of respect.

Who would have thought that this is what media freedom meant/ means?Sad

@muganda i did. some lady called-in claiming her hubby requests for some back door action. she claimed if she didnt give it to him, he'd go get it elsewhere. she further claimed her lady friends do the same. was overboard really.

No! No! No!

The discussion was whether prostitutes are in it by choice or by circumstances. It was triggered by Nairobi Mayor's response to reports that he had intentions to create "red-light" districts.

Maina maintained that prostitutes are in it by choice. He also maintained that mpango-wa-kando women are prostitutes because they have sex with married men for money knowing full well that the men will never leave their wives for them.

He encouraged mpango-wa-kando women to call in and share their opinions. Several did call-in and some agreed with him [that they can be defined as prostitutes] while others didn't. One said she is a mpango-wa-kando for four men and one of the men is an MP!

The final caller was a lady who said that all women are prostitutes! her argument was that sex is a transaction of give and take. Even those in marriage have sex with their husbands for material gain - housing etc!

I didn't think it was overboard - there has been worse. I think some one's mpango-wa-kando called in and he felt ashamed.... the guilty are afraid you know.

Ditto!
Even me I didnt hear anything overboard.
That woman who said all women having sex with men are prostitutes left me thinking hard.
I think she has a point.
Look at this;you only Nyapong' from wifey after providing things like housing, food, school fees,in-laws etc....similarly you get to land in Koinange after forking out money for literally the same items>food, rents, medication etc.
d'oh! d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

@ Impunity, look deeper than that. If your mum is married, what are you calling her? Listen to it as it rings.
