COURT bars City Hall from collecting parking fees until they amend by-laws or install parking meters in Nairobi Central Business District


Do the kanjus watch over parked vehicles?

Free Parking in town - high court!!!!!

The high court has ruled that City Council should not charge parking fees in town until they install parking meters or ammend the by-laws, rush while space lasts!!!!

This issue has always presented an ethical conundrum. By-laws also only allow City Council to charge you 70/= per morning or evening and only 70/= on Saturday.

So:
You stop in town for a few minutes and pay 140/= WRONG

You park for 20mins and give something small to attendant WRONG
