hisah, there was another huge trade jana
****************
A new survey by Invest AD and the Economist Intelligence Unit found that global institutional investors plan to boost their asset allocation in African markets over the next five years, with Kenya and Nigeria emerging as favourites.
Two-thirds of investors with an interest in frontier markets see Nigeria or Kenya holding the greatest opportunity, putting the continent ahead of frontier markets in Asia and Latin America, the survey showed.
Investors eye Africa’s emerging middle class as the most attractive aspect for the continent, which until now has been a largely popular for its natural resources.
In terms of popularity with investors, Nigeria and Kenya top the list, followed by Zimbabwe, Egypt, Ghana and Libya.

I think what is going to drive the market going forward are the prospects for 2012 which are going to come with those full year results.

UPDATE !

well i said the index would fall sometime back after the correction but it has just stagnated the 32xx area is providing some hard resistance and untill we break that we are set to fall ..the index currently is in a place of indecision and bulls and bears are fighting it out .
if you look at the below image we are in a squeeze and i expect a very big move either way ( but i am biased for a sell-off).
i think some interesting days are ahead off us..thats why i sold all my stocks in green because unless the market tells use the direction its taking holding stocks for short term is very dangerous !

2008 was bearish

2009 was ish ish

2010 - bullish

2011 - bearish

2012 ???? ish ish

2007/2008 changed Kenya political risk level and only the high risk lovers will be touching it in 2012. That coupled with the other internal and external factors affecting us aren’t paint a rosy picture.

@deal - if the index falls out of that triangle and busts 3000 support, that means the 10yr bull trendline will also be broken - currently sitting at 3030 - 3070 zone. That won't be funny... I wonder how many are prepared esp seeing the paka thread discussions...
