This agricultural firm is being spoilt by Merali's bad blood. How can anyone explain why it is losing value when all indicators on Agris are pointing to the star in the sky?
By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...

Its ex-dividend today... for starters.
I'm a shareholder... not sure whether to average down or walk away or hold.

Wow! YBC was calling for this puppy to hit the heady heights of 17 on account of the 7% dividend yield
Not for the first time, dividend yield fails to excite the market, as you would expect when other instruments are giving much more

-15.92, is this legal nowadays?

But losing 15% one day after it becomes ex-div, that is serious!

Wow! 11.50 support broken down with a thud. This one will test 9/- in coming days before soaking up the sellers.

That is my worry now that banks will be announcing their Full year results, will the prices sink after the anouncements or when they go ex dividend?

In the case of Sasini, I believe the problem is Merali. No one wants to stay in his companies for long. You grab the bone and run to safety. Beimajinyumba should be sent to take a thorough forensic audit of Sasini. Am sure they would come up with deadly data that would put Muthoka to shame.

the sasini bus is back to the stage...I think a smart investor should aim for 9.50 now and exit somewhere in May at 13/- when they announce results

I ounce got burnt by Sasini. Bought at 145 cum split(I think in 2006). Now it's a bit ok with improved tea proceeds(prices) though Merali is still in the works!

Whats good about Sasini? apart from it being an asset play...FY PAT dropped by 60% while fellow tea companies are posting +50% growth in PAT. The fundamentals are skewed i.e frost & strong Shilling.
