I agree - avoid placed that are oriented on adult entertainment - so avoid Rim Club on langata road (I am waiting for the day that rickety merry go round hurls a kid 100 mts). I second splash (camel 50,horse 50,DECENT merry go round 50 - and unlimited swimming and slides - chips 100,beer 150,entry 350 weekends). ALSO try Jolly Rogers - its past Mamba Village (as you look across from Mamba you will see a kindergarten - its just there - slides,bouncing castles,etc - oriented on kids entertainment. then again,for an 8 and 10 year old it might be unsuitable - mostly toddlers to 6-7 year olds.

Also,Nairobi Safari Walk (not the orphanage!!!) - low cost and after there is a decent restaurant nearby...(and later,on your way out,you get to check out how people have put cages around graves at the cemetery across the road )
