I started green house farming and my first crop was tomatoes. Unfortunately just after flowering the plants have started wilting. The disease is spreading so fast its threatening to wipe out all the plants.Any one with a tried and succeeded solution

Bacterial wilt is a soil borne disease. Attached see a link to a fact sheet on the disease.

Thanks. Seems like am done since there is no suggested immediate solution. Any information on soil fumigation as a solution(ie for the next crop)?

Pole sana fama mwenzangu. Had a friend who suffered the same and unfortunately you cannot salvage anythingSad Ngoa zilizobaki and prepare the land for something else preferably not in the tomato (berry)family. Ask an agronomist to assist you treat the soil for next time.

The agronomists come with all manner of advice. so long as you can pay some consultation fee they can't lack some advice for you. someone has even recommended to me some expensive drugs only to research and find out there is no known treatment Bacterial wilt.
Did your friend treat the soil and what were the results.

Any one with experience on soil fumigation??
