...I wonder how much the new Finance Minister, Robinson Githae, will be setting aside for rearing of rats in his budget estimates!. Is this a business opportunity...Since it appears like he tasted them while in Tanzania, can he tell us how they taste? Can he provide us with the recipe?

It’s NOT; instead it’s a serious matter.

smelling a rat? -not funny, eating a rat –not funny.

none of the above.

...and Chinua Achebe, in one of his writings, talks of a man who leaves his burning hut to pursue a rat freeing from the flames...With that kind of a man being a custodian of our taxes, we are in for a surprise. All the money may as well buy rats...

Isn't it funny that Kibaki-an economist himself- appoints the 'RAT MAN' as the Finance Minister when leading economists are becoming more interested in the behaviour of Rats from an economic point of view?
They are spending their time watching rats. A study by some american economists seems to have taken John Maynard Keynes's concept of animal spirits (entrepreneurial zeal) rather literally.

To test how individuals choose between two uncertain outcomes (eg, just as investors choose between financial instruments with different degrees of risk), the economists have used rats instead of people.

Maybe we are in for bigger things given Njeru Githae's interest in rats.

...Why isn't Wiper claiming a few more slices of the half loaf ya PNU? Huyu mtu wetu!!! But again a vulture never loses sight of its target...But still that human being walking across Kalahari desert may never die or he is grabbed by other vultures and so that particular vulture loses!!!
