Minister Kajwang is planning on bringing a bill to parliament where it will be proposed that IDs be issued from the age of 12years. How tenable is this? As for the link, Shietizen at 1.

The cash to be spent on 12yr old IDs should be put to better use. What this country needs is one electronic document that encompasses all your details from social service number, driving credentials, birthcert, ID, passport details, ATM card, Various accounts in institutions etc etc. I looked into my pockets and drawer the other day and discovered I have soo many cards which I regularly use but cannot manage to carry all of them at one go. Mpaka smart cards, k-card, Memebrs card, blood group, AAR, Mungiki royalty card, NSSF, NHIF, NNNT, Library card, Student card, employment card and am not yet half way. By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...Gaitho dialogues.

I don't know but let me just speculate-the kids are very impressionable. You just need to organise a Gidi Gidi Maji Maji concert cum political rally and the youngsters are hooked. Could be a brilliant idea. Am just wondering, would the kids be considered adults and would they vote once they get the ID's?

Why cant the young ones be identified if they are to reap from the childrens act and its related privileges? Only these identification documents need to be classed, one group to id the teenagers and another group to id the grown ups.
