During my primary school days I received my fair share of whackings. Those comments make it look sooo bad.

How much moolah do you intend to spend? There is a plethora of schools in the neighbourhood. In the words of fellow elder @mukiha, visit the schools personally and take the decision yourself.

Ndehi runs a so so school, his comparative advantage is school transport, and it certainly isn't in the league it played in in the mid 2000.

A parent there told me that they no longer cane. Riara and St Hannah's are in the same hood (Kilimani). Both have KCPE results that show strong, average, and weak kids which is a sign of honesty. Riara charges double St Hannah's. Let your budget decide.

No point flossing on primo schools and cars only to have no money for retirement, medical insurance, kids campo fees, kids wedding present, family holidays, kids sports and hobbies, etc.

How old is your daughter?

Have you considered public schools?

If she is joining class one next year, you can try move her to pre-unit in one of the public schools.... They are not as bad as they are made to be.... and the fees will not run you broke.

Just visit a few and see for yourself.

we did several km daily in londokwe during moi hard times. by God s grace we made it.

you don't have to spend an arm and leg on lower primary school education

take your kid to a well managed public school especially lower classes.then just ensure that you check what they studied daily

I have in-laws whose kid did quite well at a public primary school. They live in a rent and mortgage-free digs. Now that's piece of mind. The most expensive isn't necessarily the best. That's why at the supermarket it's good to experiment with cheaper unknown brands. You could be pleasantly surprised. That's what I did when a coffee brand I used to buy doubled in price over a very short period.
