does the future look bleek for the mobile industry, given that windows have decided to put VoIP on all there new devices... meaning we can call as low as 20cnts he he the goes the golden goose!

Well maybe not, it never did for newspapers when TVs started, or online editions, or tweeter.... look at it how many people have computers in kenya? it will take a while longer and always remember that safcom is also in the data business and VOIP will grow their data business.

They'll find a way to adapt. I think if true, microsoft will have a very hard time and many legal huddles to overcome before this becomes a reality and as they are going through all that something better will come up from most unlikely quarters.

BBI will solve it :)

those windows phones are expensive !!!!!!!!! 30k and above so i dnt think it will affect safcom or airtel or orange ...

thats why GSM companies will still stand tall... more so safcom due to numbers
