My experience is when kcb is rallying buy equity and the vice versa but both rarely move same direction.

Dividend of 1.75 i expect or am i so dreamy?

With a 15B PBT we will surely get that 1.75.

15 Billion PBT = 53.1% growth.

Well, my thinking is still the same & simple as follows; Subsidiaries break-even in FY'11 in order to plug the 2B loss to PBT in FY'10 and KCB Kenya grows PBT by a modest 3B in FY'11. And that's how I arrive at that figure of 15B PBT.

Sh1.75X2.95 Billion Shares=Sh5.1 Billion...KCB will be nuts to give more than 60% of their profits as dividends.

Kcb Group has always paid 50% of EPS as DPS.

Thus, it is not about the figure my friend, it is about the percentage.

Ok lets talk percentages, so you expect KCB to report PAT of between Sh10-10.5 Billion because 50% of that is Sh5.1 Billion which is = Sh1.75 DPS...That figure is even > KCB's H1 2011 PAT...

Put in another way is for KCB to make an extra 1.25PBT/Q in FY'11. Well, my thinking will be ruled upon as soon as next month smile

I think the 15bln PBT and 1.75 DPS for KCB will materialize in the 2012 results..

For 2011 I expect 12-13bln PBT and 1.5 DPS which is by all means awesome..

My floor is 13.5B PBT and ceiling is 15B PBT. A 1.5 dps will also be a welcome 20% compound increase on my qualifying units for FY2010's pay out. Let's see.
