Some interesting about derivatives and the ongoing fraud circus... The best part comes from Kevin Warsh - former Fed bank governor - calling the system a bluff. Somehow the truth comes after one is retired. Sigh... d'oh!

Happening overnight. The other day KE gok sites were knocked down. This one feels like a gimmick to get support for SOPA & PIPA bills...

If one was to price S&P 500 index in silver, not only is it overbought, but has broken the rating meter gauge... The market is irrational and the next selling bout is a few weeks away. If you follow biz cycles, earnings will disappoint sending this index down for another 18 months. The next strong bull will be around Mar/Apr 2014 after the bear extreme. The 2007 - 2009 bear pattern is already on the cards from Jul 2011.

I expect global markets to end 2012 lower kama NSE last year riding on hopium. Let's see how Mr Market will navigate the tape direction.

Happy investing...

After relooking at the long term WTI oil chart, I hope the rising wedge formation unfolds so that the price plunges to $92 then $87. Expensive oil will not give anyone any favours...

And more on why the sanctions by the west on Iran is just a complete waste of time. China, Japan, Russia and now India joins in to continue trading with the persians. And in the process bypassing the petrodollar hegemony. The asians are sending a strong message of discontent to the west and also reminding them they're their credit masters. Interesting times this smile

@ hisah while i agree with part of your statement, i can tell you these sanctions are biting, in May 2011 1 usd used to exchange at 11,000 Iranian riyals today its exchanging at 18,500 riyals and expected to stand at 20,000 after 23rd. Whether china/japan/russia buy their oil or not (i thought russia has there own oil) the ground is hurting....

In short term they will. But look at the western economies, such farce. The fact that asians are defiant to the west sanction calls on persia says a lot about the economical balance. A few yrs backs persia would have seen military machines going and installing a puppet regime. When one threatens the petrodollar hegemony, the war machine takes you down. Saddam & Gaddafi are recent examples. Cheves was lucky since Iraq & Afghan missions stretched resources. Research more on oil trading cycles.

I have no interest in oil investment for now so i wont research..... i was just responding to the notion implied that things are okay since asians are buying as the west struggle to implement sanctions, well truth be said things are not okay and the economy is hurting..... Defiant to the west???? you should know what asian companies with investments in persia and the west did after the latest round of sanctions.....
