I know Man Utd fans always talk of Mourinho being SAF's successor but i don't see that happening.....SAF wants another 3 years at the club whereas i don't see "the special one" being in Spain for that long.I have a gut feeling he'll end up at Man City, the Sheikh wants to win CL and not Europa Liga....besides they have most of the qualities Mourinho looks for Ambition, blank cheque book and a chance to do what no one has done before at the club.

El Classico has been El Tragico for Real for the past couple of seasons or so. So sad for Madrid, they'd win the league in any other country. Like SAF said, sometimes you have to bow down to the greatest.

@Taz, I wouldn't want Jose to succeed SAF,too much controversy which we don't need at the club. Guus Hiddink is tactically very adept, wouldn't mind having him. These players turned coaches are mostly jokers so this vibe of Ole Gunner is nonesense

Real should now refuse to play any more El Classicos at the Bernabe'u

They should shift to the Mestalla for their 'home' Classicos. That's where they won the Copa Del Rey.

This Madrid side is a disgrace to the team that featured Zidane,Ronaldo and Figo. That squad oozed flair, unlike the current one that is methodical and filled with hatchet-men like Pepe,Ramos,Arbeloa and Marcello. Little wander that CR7 gets stick from his own fans.

Barcelona, on the other hand, are the embodiment of "Jogo Bonito"

Forza Barca!!!

The biggets mistake Real Madrid was to sack Vicente Del Bosque after he won the CL and failed to win La Liga - that was the end of their tika taka

I think it was the other way round. He won the la liga but lost the cl.

Del Bosque knew how to handle the Galacticos, every feared Real Madrid then and they won either La Liga or CL every season. Since his depature they've been a disgrace in the CL.

Maybe @smano is thinking about Rafa Benitez.

One reason you must admire liverfool fans is that they once told Benitez without mincing words that what they needed was the EPL TITLE and NOT CL TROPHY.

When all is said and done, people should remember that the sort of Barca Del Bosque dealt against was a very different Barca from the one Maureen is dealing with. Therein lies the difference.
