Sufficiently Philanga....thropic wrote:Why 12th Aug? Is that when u expect them to announce their H1 results? I'd advise u keep ua money until the day the market will start and u see a buy order of 1m shares and no supply. That's the time to take the plunge,IMHO! On a light note this one: How will he take the plunge with no supply?

Wazuans, is there any good reason for Tranny not to fall below the conversion price of 40. If not can we expect that below 40 it will be a free fall perhaps down to 20?

At below 40 the security will lie in the fact that there will be no supply. We will see scenario where a week may elapse without trading. It will be hard to control. Imagine a scenario where the counter does not trade and when it does only a 100 shares deal is through with a 10% dip in price. On the next trading the highest it can do is the ten percent of the smaller price. African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

The only hope to avoid the downswing for this counter is if it fails to trade, the price will continue dipping as the bourse has no support level for this counter. How about waiting for it at 25 beginning of september. African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

When you dig a hole out you might be filling another or making a mountain! IPOs are best for a good company that has good prospectus and take time to rise slowly and is capable of delivering dividends at first FY. This was a stock I never like from the time Go when I remembered East African cables share hit 540 on politics Kenyan Insider wrote:Guys, if you had the opportunity to get in on this action before the listing would you take it?

TransCentury Limited’s (TCL) shares touched a new low of Kshs. 23.00 in trading at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday January 17th 2012 after trading 1,800 shares. The share eventually closed at Kshs. 23.50. This represents a 53% drop from the introductory price of Kshs. 50.00 on July 14th 2011. Soon after the listing, the share touched a high of Kshs. 60.00, but has been on a swift downward spiral since then. In light of this development, I undertook a review of the company and its operations LINK: TRANSCENTURY LIMITED REVIEW

Those who bought at 50 were buying hot air. How do you buy a share with PE > 50? and no history? Life is short. Live passionately.
