Absolutely love the programme on Kiss TV. Throw back to the days of Kenya Music Festival at the Kenya Science Teachers College. Heko Safaricom and keep up the sponsorship.

BTW, is that Angie of Mother in Law(Citizen TV) fame in the choir "Cantus in Choro"?

My main beef is with the conductors. All of them, without exception are entertainers, jesters and dancers. I think I know a thing about conducting music, it is that the right hand keeps the pace (where a drum is missing) and the motions for the four beats are up, down, sideways and up(1,2,3,4). The left hand raises or lowers the tempo, prompts sections to kick in etc. Or has conducting since changed?

Please roast the beef and invite us to dinner. The dance and jest is the norm nowadays. Btw, wouldn't the dancer enhance the eating experience?

When is the show aired and at what time?
I stopped watching Kiss TV when they recruited Kobi-Kihara and that thin-gentleman to air the so called Livewire news bulletin.
Shame on you

I didn't enjoy it. The sound quality was bad... dry... dead... I couldn't stand it for more than the first two opening choirs.

Was is something to do with the auditorium? Or was it the sound recording? It sounded more suited for speech presentation instead of music and song.

It lacked reverberation and "warmth". I suspect that the rendition of Toto's "Africa" must have been heavenly but it was killed dead by the poor sound quality...

And before some one suggest this: it has nothing to do with my TV reception.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

...And a choir does not necessarily have to sing christian songs!!!
A choir, chorale or chorus is a musical ensemble of singers. Choral music, in turn, is the music written specifically for such an ensemble to perform.
