Anyone read the Archbishop Deya story in today's Nation? Someone tell me those were not his words because...

It did not come as a suprise to me. Jesus put it succintly '...wolves in sheep clothing'. These televangelists are in this just for the money, the power and the glory. Scumbugs hiding behind the mask of divinity. Which goes to prove God's word as true when it says ALL are sinners and non is righteous.

I just read the whole thing and what can I say? Even so come Lord Jesus! Blessed are those who are ready for the marriage of the Lamb.

He who watches over me neither sleeps nor slumbers! & I shall dwell in His house forever.

I read it and I must say he was such a genius! The skills he applied,he knew exactly what works in 'business'.

I read serious mischief in this article. This is the same carelessness demonstrated close to one and a half years ago.

The literary skill is wanting and therefore qualifies to first be viewed as propaganda.

I wonder, how stupid can a man be to structure his comments that way,not unless it was vigoruosly edited by the newspaper to create a certain impression.

Yes,church politics is there, but this is utter rubbish.

I am torn between seeing him as probably a sincere but tragically deluded person with an over-inflated view of himself or an extremely crafty and scheming businessman masquerading as a preacher.

Time and chance happen to all.

That was one interesting read......though the writer's literary skills were not up to standard....@jitetee,i prefer to see him as the latter....from how he acquired those churches to getting to M. Cerullo....that was pure shrewdness.......
One thing that has never changed is how Africans view whites...it's the in thing in some churches to have white men 'ordain' them....it makes it more believable...

Men who are occupied in the restoration of health to other men,by the joint exertion of skill and humanity, are above all the great of the earth. They even partake of divinity, since to preserve and renew is almost as noble as to create.VOLTAIRE.
