On the contrary I prefer firms that DON'T pay dividends but reinvest the funds in the business. That's why NIC is my favourite, they keep most of the cash, and give bonuses instead.

I totally agree with you @GG my problem is the companies that declare the dividend but take so long to pay and you are left wondering why they declared it in the first place.

COOP pays on time.(re-phrase: i received on time)
Sometimes the difference comes from the mode you indicated for receiving the dividends. If on account, you get within days. If its a cheque, it would be in your post box the next week. Sometimes it might take you another week before you visit the posta, and all this is assuming you gave the correct address and code.

Plizzzz, usipake Coop Bank matope!!!!Liar They pay on time. I usually get mine the same week as declared. KK is in the same group with CoopBank, they do it very first. Mumias as well do it on time.
But SameerAfrica, AccessK, and others who have contracted their services to custodial and share Registrars at Bruce house take months to pay or wire dividends to investors account.

Just received a notice for AGM on 27/1 at Nrb Club. In the agenda, to receive and adopt the Annual Report. I haven't seen the accounts, even in the dailies - of course no dividends.

E.A Cables really sucks! 3 Months after due date, and they haven't paid!
