The truth about the Al-shabab war is:

We need a stable Somali state

We need for the refugees to go back

We need to prove our military might

We need the $$ that come with it

The biggest threat to Kenya's security is idle youth, military is the best employment. Think about it and read btwn the lines here.

BBI will solve it :)

Just like the U.S.A vs Al Qaeda war ,it was necessary to push the confrontation to the training grounds used by the militants.

That way a country avoids having it's capital hit every now and then since the attackers are kept busy at home.

It makes business sense.
