Well EU has just announced they've come to an agreement on banning iranian oil imports. And immediately Brent & WTI prices are furiously rallying Sad

One ugly show this... 2012 has started on the flip side... Whacky ride ahead without seatbelts...

Will the weak global economy stand the coming oil price shock... Definitely bears (sell side) will be on a roll...

It is said that war (well at least initially) 'rallies the nation together'. Maybe that is what Obama is looking for with Iran and in the process secure re-election as the nation will no doubt 'forge together during these difficult times'

Let it unfold...

My Econ professor once told us that war is good!! Ofcourse as long as you win, creates alot of opportunities. Though the Bush war def did not rally the nation together. Aki if Obama angers Ahmadinejad, yani I might as well just start selling my kidneys, that guy does not know how to be nice Laughing out loudly I know the US is trying to bully him, but Gotdamn!!! Oil is too expensive!!

What i'm finding very funny is that fundamentally a lot of refineries are being shutdown in the West for over-capacity due to low demand. So EU sanctioning Iran at this point is just a PR exercise in my view coz the truth is they don't need the crude for reasons very clear to a smart person. I'm still very bearish on Crude. Screw the smoke screens.

Another issue arising from Western sanctions on Iranian oil is that it gives bargaining power to China & India to get cheaper crude from Iran hence, more growth for China & India! Catch 22 pap! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

What has just been said?? Pliz rudia pole pole, I'm looking at it from a Micro not Macro point of view, if Iran blocks the strait, oil skyrockets, bad for consumer, right? Even worse if Obama "overreacts" and attacks Iran, WW III.

Oh Happy New year Wazuans, here's to hoping we all make more money, invest it all, spend less and that these stocks rally so we can cash out at the top. Dreams do come true, even though the market is down it will go back up. Happy 2012, year of the Dragon.
