I would like to build a house using bricks in Kisumu - Kajulu, any ideas on the nearest sellers please advise.

I understand most bricks used in Ksm come 4rm Nyabondo. So try to connect wid s'one from those sides.
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

Get the guys who do the bricks and let them do it at your place, reduces your costs by more than half!!!

Red cotton soil is the best (type found in Kiambu and Vihiga).
lack cotton soil is the compromise.(I suspect kajulu have the black cotton soil)

i know someone who build his house using the bricks...a four bed roomed bungalow in Mumias the cost was about 1.8 - 2m i don't have the breakdown but he told me finishing ndio ilikula pesa mingi

Black cotton soil will not do as it will crack if baked.

Red soil is the best. Try around Ahero where I have seen several red brick houses. The best fundis' -Try Bondo. I saw some very nice brick houses there

From experience building a 3 bedroomed, store, kitchen, living room and dining room, 2 bath, electrical wiring, the best galsheet mabati available cost around 1.2 million in 2009/2010.
