African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

saw the piece on the south sudanese chap who was ranked 4th nationally. he could not read when he joined some school in nai at standard 6. so he would get help from the nursery teachers. what an inspiring story

As we celebrate the young achievers let us spare a thought for that boy who led Central Province in 1992, got admission to Starehe, 'failed' at KCSE by scoring B- and is now selling charcoal in his neighbourhood after dropping out of campus in 2nd year.

analys this carefully, and i think something not right somewhere. It seems some private schools are registering other students in a different center for example Makini, Newlight and Gilgil hill academy I am very sure class eight class was over 100 students where are the others

Gilgil Hill 41
St Kelvin Hill 20
Newlight Academy 22
Makini Ngong 22
Booker Academy 88 (making sense)
Mary Joy 53 not bad
Freds Academy 40 not bad
Pleasant Vies 30

I believe its common to have private schools with far much lesser students than public schools. I even know a case of two public schools that had 31 and 43 candidates in this years exam.
