the public owns only 6% of EAPCC... Alot of these are held by kenya re.. They must definitely have less than 100 shareholders..

With 5 heads having confirmed 94% control. There is very little 'public' thing in this company. The suspensiom will help the counter not lose market capitalisation considering the volatile market.

I think some GoK folks have 'grabbed' the land EAPCC owns. If this info comes out before the elections, it could cause discomfort to many corrupt politicians.

I hope this can of worms bursts open for all to see!

@vvs, not so fast. Follow the guys cv, find out why he was hounded out of KRA, then superimpose that to the adage 'a leopard never changes his spots'.

The CMA official statement is that NSSF has not sold any of its 27% stake in EAPCC and the company still remains a Government owned firm..

Does this mean that the so callled transfer of 200 million worth of shares was a hoax? If yes, who will take responsibility for the mix-up. Two days of not trading isn't a small thing.

Bamburi counter just lost 8% and is currently trading at 125.00 per share.
Any relationship with the EAPC quagmire...

Lakini, think about it...

1) Jamaa 'hounded' out of KRA could mean he did not toe the line. KRA is no bastion of anti-corruption...
2) If he was kicked out of KRA for unsavoury deed then why did GoK hire him at EAPCC - which is GoK controlled?
3) If KT was hired by EAPCC prior to 2003, then GoK did nothing for 8 years? Didn't KRA complain?

I think Bamburi is a shareholder of EAPC?
