smile New company that was fairly subscribed at two-thirds. The shares came down hard on various counts of lower target at IPO, that fake inflation, Arab spring and its mother the econ- crisis that kept foreigners at bay.
What is the Financial year ending now for Britak?
Since they have alot of unsold shares will it be possible to issue bonus shares than assuming a dividend?
I see a possibility of foreigners entering this stock in 2012 at fair price that may be will push price to 7.50 due on demand.
What are your comments on this yee wazuans?smile

November 30 is when their year ended.i strongly feel they cant match their previous numbers given the nse state.however being their first announcement after listing, they must cook and give an incentive otherwise the bear will swallow them.

@Decide,...my advice to you is not to sell your britak...incase you bought at ipo...its too late to sell and cut losses...the stock is picking i suggest you average down now...averaging down is only a dumb move in a bear.

@Decide...how old are you in this game coz your comment is shocking.,.sh 8 by january is being unrealistic...infact you are dreaming...no doubt it will rally but not to those levels by january...patience is a virtue.

Auwiii! Please explain how Britak's fundamentals were/are strong in comparison to its peers. They put most of their cheese at the NSE and listed just before THEY KNEW the market was in for a tanking and their profits would follow. They managed to dupe a few Kenyans (foreigners were smarter). Had you joined Wazua before the IPO you would have known, just by the sentiment around here, that the IPO was doomed before it began. 9 bob was unrealistic. Same goes for Tranny. Family Bank also intended to shaft Kenyans but they learned from the mistakes of the aforementioned two

Correction - Institutional investors aka the big money mboiz - both foreign and local avoided this thing like a plague. You should do so too... Let them announce their carcass results then see if you can use the bones to boil some soup rally... As long as they duped wanjiku in an overly priced IPO, that says a lot about it as a firm. Also the use of the IPO proceeds to pay off some loan was a bad as any red flag gets. But at sub 4, you can buy some for a relief rally then sell at 6.

@decide. I wouldn't be too anxious for britak results, they will be bad. Maybe even loss making territory. 8 bob maybe in half a decade. I'm serious. I actually think its a bit over priced at current price. I refer u to cfcih graph,

Is that the same mantra you used for the IPO? It is never always true by the way. Just look at some of the dubious listed companies. Being greedy for them can earn you a triple-bypass

smile This is a larger than heart company. It was well running
and on the positive before going public. Again apart from Admin fees and inflation sept-Oct there is not much more expenses. Remember a small line that showed they were on the buying spree for property and the guys insure big boys. Their Headquarter can tell you they are clean guys.smile smile 30cts or 1 for 10 bonus.Drool Pray
