Governments are based on better profits instead of better efficiency. Governments can't figure out how to get their "share" from anyone who uses it. Imagine all the money the drug companies would lose if it were legalized! Ok, in some countries it can be obtained with a prescription and as such it is legal. It's only illegal if obtained for recreational purposes without prescription. For example, cocaine is illegal if obtained from a non pharmaceutical licensed person for non medical reasons but is legal if used under medical supervision for it's legitimate medical uses like stopping nose bleeds. Well! maybe i sound like a conspiracy theorist but sometimes i think we should go for some simple efficient cures even if in some form that is acceptable and in controlled or regulated situations. The ancient chinese had used marijuana for many purposes including pain relieve, why can't we explore this cure some more. That's my take on these.
