He deserved it....However,did any1 do the math for the proceeds from voting..1000000x20= 20 M. They only give winner 5M and 5M for expenses.Net from voting=10M

Am not sure whether to congratulate Alpha.

Alpha was good but the nganga guy had populality - evident from constantly rescued from probations.

Am just thinking,Tusker is breaking ground in Rwanda, the win by Alpha could be a big boost for EABL. So could they have rigged, they had all the means.

Otherwise,i congratulate all the contentants for entertaining us.

this is what I call consumer seduction...Ng'ang'a was far much a better performer and had an evident upward trend all through but they gave it to the guy who totally spoilt Reggea...but anyway, the true talent has just started for Alpha, let us see what he does with the money!!

Nganga at some point became too proud. He even nicknamed the prize money ati - 'millionito' heck! He lost to the same antics that made him famous in the first place.

Alpha, always composed, humble he became after realising that quarelling with everyone wasn't working for him....and it paid off! more Kenyans and Rwandans voted for him pamoja!

I loved it when patricia was named 4th - what a serious whack where it hurts the most!! You can smell the money, but you ain't getting it!! hahahaha! She walked off the stage so fast, her black dress was like the blurr when superman moves with super-speed!!

All in all,Maureen did the best songs the best way,but didn't move the crowds,I hope Hellon works with her,I await her songs eagerly.

Ha ha! Sig,you're so right about patricia. She was so sure she'd be in the top 3. I loved Ng'ang'a but still feel like Alpha was more consistent and deserved to win. Lito's performance last night however was just awesome. I'm sure he'll go far. If i'm not wrong,as the runner up he will get some prize money and a recording contract won't he?

it is not doubt that Alpha deserved a win.. congrats man!

but,if hardwork was anything to go by,lito should have won...

wait a minute,if he was more of a comedian than a singer, then he must have worked extra hard to move his fans... thus,he had a greatest offerings of them all...

but i think 2nd place is also an achievement...isn't it?

To say the truth,i never followed this thing up untill yesterdays final. However from the sentiments here, even if that patricia was good, most of you wouldnt vote for her.

In Top Comic, there was a bias towards voting for Oyoo. If you saw the show where all guys took us to their hoods. While other guys came from OK neighbourhoods,Oyoo took us deep into Kibera.

Were these the best ama its just personal biases??

What a great coincidence... A Rwandese winning when EABL just enter Rwanda. If I'm eabl and had such an opportunity,I'd make sure the Rwandese wins by any means necessary. You?

Ng'ang'alito was the best entertainer and obviously the star of the show. he can pull crowds. Votes split btw him and Patricia....and the anti-kikuyu thing

Alpha was the most consistent musical performer, though not a great entertainer. He will need great support to develop a crowd pulling personality. I hear prezzy kagame asked all Rwandans to vote for their boy. Any kenyan who is anti-kikuyu voted for this great young man.

Patricia has a great voice, very eloquent and great to listen to,but lacks the musical star crowd pulling personality - she is in the same league as TPF1 winner - great voices but lacks stardom personality.

The UG gal,Maureen, same as patricia but can dance....Ugandan's have a star.
Life is worth living cos God planned it to be so.
