hey hey guys . Not all kenyans are skerians.Let's not be too judgemental to this friend and Okwonko of the N95 fame.Don't we have a quality control institution in Kenya(KEBS)/ or even copyrightscontrol ? why are all this fake phones on display over the counters while no one in the institution is raising a finger ? Is it every man on his own ? why do we then pay taxes to fund these sleeping /Moriband institutions? where can and aggrieved tax payer go for reprieve?

The dealers give a guarantee / warranty on the phones but wait until you get a problem ....... utalia

Si even medicine we have original and generic medicines? why not have original and generic phones but quality phones for the mwananchi?

SK - this is Okonkwo himself of the N95 NOKLA fame. Although I hv been avoiding questions from members abt fate of my phone,I think my reply wud b of public interest. That phone is still there, but I have to charge it daily. I also carry another set,so that in case of phone dead,I wud transfer sim card.

I wud advise SK members to spend an extra coin to buy original NOKIA. Cheap is expensive - I have conculded.

You were luck,it could have been worse.

Be careful about where you buy a phone. I heard of a guy who has been in remand for 3weeks because he bought a stolen phone, unfortunately the victim was murdered in the incident. Accessory to murder-not bailable.

@Niando. For Safcom you can go to a customer case center and they'll connect u. Try same with Zain though they're not as friendly. You can also call Zain 111. They'll dictate the procedure on phone. Good luck.
