@ Sparkly, seems the proceeds from sell to SBP were used to pay off debt or as put reduce losses from SAL meaning this equalled the score,... otherwise the questions are....was land transfer approved at an AGM? was land valuation done? was this audited? shareholders saw this and kept silent? CMA???... while am aware of the tricks "the big one" pulls, am left asking why at AGMs we cant raise our voices on such matters and put such people to shame..... as your slogan says, we are so keen on conformity at AGMs, just raise your hand vote as directors want and rush for food....

Well if he decides to pull a Sameer like move, he will have to convince my previous lecturer, now Dr.Mcfee, who BTW is not a push over. CMA is now more aware of corporate fraud than before and will surely not turn its face the other way! Either way, there will still be something to smile about for the minorities! @SufficientlyP

Sasini can announce a final of 0.5cts to make it Ksh. 1, driving the share price to 17-18. I don't think it will give a bonus but should it do a 1 for 5, It will drive the share price to a 30% down in 2 yrs! Sasini is a good stock. With the good price from Tea and Coffee and the stong dollar. Arab wars and Euro crisis will have a small impact on the result. Trade with cautious. Sound that I love most: Is the ringing bell of Stock Market.

@ybc rem we are still in the bear Market and Mr Market behaves irrationally. Even with a final div of 50 cents or a bonus share Sasini wont rally that much. "A bad decision made now is beta that a good one made later!!"

@ybc I'll be keenly be watching sasini. If the market rally from tomor then the wave will likely lift it but should the bear run hold its position then it wont excite the market at all. "A bad decision made now is beta that a good one made later!!"

Gains in biological assets! The IFRS people should be told that this particular one distorts rather than improves reporting. It is open to abuse by companies that arr less than open. The valuation assumptions are also just assumptions. Life is short. Live passionately.

The current results will spook some, but real estate should hold things together... Mr Market is an interesting entity...$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Having one million shillings and above does not turn you into a millionaire. You need a million dollars to be able to call yourself a millionaire. By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...Gaitho dialogues.

Anyway i took my 39% capital gains let me wait for sasini at 9.8-10 in feb march 2012

Having one million shillings and above does not turn you into a millionaire. You need a million dollars to be able to call yourself a millionaire. 1) I did not specify a currency ;-) 2) Where is the definition that a 'millionaire' has to be in US$? 3) I was a BILLIONAIRE (perhaps a Trillionaire) in Zim$... You can't win them all... http://www.businessdaily...6/-/6wvfu3z/-/index.html " The five-year redeemable bond issued in 2007 was earning annual interest of 11.75 per cent fixed rate and was set to mature next year." A pity coz it could have re-invested the cash into T-Bills, T-Bonds or Bank Deposits paying 15-25% while paying the Bondholders 11.75% Greedy when others are fearful.
