@ Smano, as has been pointed out above one of the reasons why Utd won the title last season was because their main rivals failed to capitalise on their poor form. This season Man City don't look like dropping points and they will take advantage of every single mistake...the thing is they have depth in the squad. You can't compare their bench to any in the premier league. Last season Berbatov and Chicharito were in very good form, this season no one has really risen to the occassion. I'm afraid City might pull away before christmas.

I dont think last season anyone thought United would win. For crying out loud, there are 26 more games to be played! An unconvincing United is still 7 points ahead of some glorified teams. What do you think will happen when United become convincing? How many times have we seen this in season's past? Let us first finish off with Basel. People are forgetting that Basel MUST win. Vidic should be back, a clean sheet predicted, and off to the second round.

@ Jus Blazin....We all know Man Utd will improve but question is, at what point? Man City are already 5 pts clear at the top, that should be your target and not the teams behind you in the league. Don't forget that just a few games ago you were 15 pts ahead of Arsenal, now its 7 so anything is possible. All teams always experience a certain time in the season when theres a drop in form not just Utd....you just hope it doesn't prove to be costly. For Man Utd i'm afraid it has in the CL....its either 2nd place or Europa ndogo.

Playing in Europa league would be an ultimate humiliation for me - I'd rather we go to the 2nd round and meet Real, Bayern or even Barca and bow out gracefully if beaten over 2 legs. Like I mentioned earlier, am confident we'll beat Basel, our players seem to have pressure for dinner.

As for EPL, am aware that slip ups this season will not be generously tolerated by rivals, wacheni tucheze December kwanza then a better picture of the league will appear. The thing I fear most are incessant injuries to key players.

I think these young guns will give us a good result in Greece tonight:

Andrey Arshavin
Yossi Benayoun
Marouane Chamakh
Francis Coquelin
Johan Djourou
Craig Eastmond
Lukasz Fabianski
Emmanuel Frimpong
Vito Mannone
Ignasi Miquel
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Oguzhan Ozyakup
Ju Young Park
Tomas Rosicky
Andre Santos
Sebastien Squillaci
Thomas Vermaelen
Nico Yennaris

Meanwhile, the other English trio are in danger zone. Let's await their fate.

There goes our Carling Cup squad for the European holiday! A draw will be good enough but a win will be icing on the cake wow so much freedom on the final game! Not so for same of our EPL friends. Expected IX....Fabianski; Djourou, Squillaci, Vermaelen, Santos; Frimpong, Coquelin, Rosicky, Benayoun; Arshavin, Chamakh

Meanwhile, the other English trio are in danger zone. Let's await their fate.
