Hi. Am very much interested in joining your list of providers. However here your information is quite scanty.

Why am I being asked to provide photos of my car?

All my cars are always away on assignments unless I am using them. I was intending to dedicate two of my most competent drivers to this project.

I have already finished the first registration part and verified my number.

How are the payments made for the services rendered i.e are they paid for in advance to you
or to the attendant after the service has been rendered ?

@new investor Thank you for your interest, and for registering.

The photos we ask you to provide are for quality check purposes.

For the vehicle to be approved for use it's expected to be less than 10 years old from the date of manufacture and in either good, very good or excellent condition.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have in detail and you can e-mail me directly via info@globerobe.com

@chaka The payments are made by wire transfer to your (i.e. the attendant's) bank account directly by us (i.e. Globerobe Inc) once a month in arrears.

However the cost of fuel/mileage expended for any job is refunded after the task is complete (via the Travel Agency that you'll be attached to - our Global Partner). This amount is separate and not part of the attending fee.

Please note, the attendant is responsible for all income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes that may apply. So it'll be up to you to remit to KRA. smile

Hi. Please clarify the types of cars. Are saloons eligible?

Yes, saloons are eligible.

In general, we're looking for our attendants to own/have access to either a Motorcycle, Passenger Car (i.e. saloon), Passenger Van, Commercial Van or Pick-up so as to be able to handle assignments.

The assignments you take on will be either;
- Driver/Chauffeur (what we call a Driver Buddy)...picking up and getting travelers to their appointments or destinations.
- Luggage...helping to transport a traveler's luggage/belongings from the hotel to airport or vice-versa)
- Errands...running odd jobs for the traveler while they're here. These could range from buying an event ticket, delivering food, picking up a souvenir at Maasai Market...etc.

Registration for attendants in Kisumu is now open.

Not quite sure how to post an image to the thread... so here's a link to the actual Ad;

And what happens if the said travellers are trafficking drugs? Will you pay legal fees consequent to that?

@Elder

In that unlikely event the attendant reports the incident to the police and also notifies us so we can take action to remove the Traveller from our database.

Much like Task Rabbit, we're an online platform connecting Travelers to these services as rendered through Attendants and liabilities lie between these two parties.

To all who've registered...thank you and congratulations to those who've been vetted and approved. Applause

To all those who would like to register with us, the opportunity remains open - and we especially look to seeing more attendants come on-board from Mombasa and Kisumu.
