Denying is one thing, lying in order to deny is another ball game all together. Sample this from Nation Newspaper.
Dr Oburu however admits that
the family has a piece of land at the internal container depot in Nairobi and not within Mavoko municipality as was alleged by Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu.
The Bondo legislator rubbished claims by Mr. Waititu that the Odingas were some of the top Government officials who influenced the Kyang’ombe and Syokimau demolitions because they own land in the area.
“Our land is in Nairobi and we bought it 30 years ago but we have been unable to develop it because
some people suddenly occupied it and we could not evict them” said Mr. Oburu.
The Assistant Minister however manner the evictions in Kyang’ombe and Syokimau were conducted, terming it
barbaric and inhuman.

He was skirting around the fact that the land at Internal container depot is where Kyangombe stands. Kyangombe is where he says squatters settled and that means the Odinga family is using the Syokimau evictions as a chance to also evict the squatters on their land. If someone stays on your land for I think 11 or 7 yrs, he or she will have right of the land.
See how Oburu was trying to be clever by half?
He says it is barbaric and inhuman which means that is exactly what his extended family is if they are evicting the squatters from the land.
By the way, did Waruru Wakanja purchase the land initially or he grabbed it? If so, it should revert to the government like the Syokimau land reverts to KAA.
Nostop....., We have smarter brains to see through veiled denials which border on lies and deception.
