I have seen this name Craysell Investments in many listed companies, and usually amongst the top 10 shareholders. Anyone know whom they are, or guys behind it.

I think it is related to one Ameerali K. Abdulrasul Somji

A quick scan shows:

Diamond Trust Bank
Craysell Investments Ltd - 2,948,269 shares or 1.51%

Jubilee Holdings
Ameerali K. Somji &/or Gulzar Ameerali K. Somji - 3,146,059 shares or 6.35%
AND
Ameerali K. Abdulrasul Somji and Hanif Mohamed Somji - 765,177 shares or 1.54%

Or is it not the same guy?smile

The above is from the Jubilee 2010 Annual Report

Also in 2009, Jubilee listed Craysell Investment Limited as number 5 in the top 10 shareholders with 1.71%. This could have been revised in 2010 as Ameerali K. Abdulrasul Somji and Hanif Mohamed Somji

Williamson Tea Kenya
Craysell Investments Ltd. - 99,354 shares or 1.13%


Does his significant investments in both Jubilee and Diamond Trust Bank indicate that he is an Aga Khan associate?


The above investments run up to about 930 Million

Makes sense, saw his name on some Aga khan Hosp. sometime back too.
they are also in Serena.

He is a private businessman/investor based in Kenya.
Possibly a follower of the Shia Ismaili Muslim Faith.
