ABS (Asset backed securities) to become a reality in KE. Oh dear Sad Now I understand the NSE name change & its new indices at global markets. Why would a bank want to lend more than it can cover? Why should they be permitted to run such a ponzi? These ABS & SPV blackhole products are the reason we're stuck in 2008 4yrs later...

@hisah,when i read that article,i could not believe somebody would want to introduce ABS here ,do they ever learn from events elsewhere or are they just out to rip off gullible Kenyans who would be sucked into buying into such.

Italian bonds (2yr & 10yr) are smoldering badly today... Market confidence is rattled going into the weekend. Euroland finance news over the weekend will be interesting...

Means markets may force the germans to swallow a huge bit of hamburger or frankfurter and agree to the printing press by Sunday night when the Asia markets open...
