I spent the last two weeks looking for cooking gas. Finally managed to get some yesterday at the Total station at the top of Kimathi Street...phew.
I paid sh3,000 which was good - the last cylinder had cost sh2,800. My neighbour had bought his at sh3,500 at Uchumi Adam's Arcade and our estate kiosk was selling at sh4,200 (daylight robbery!)
What was most frustrating was going from station to station and being told "aaah; imekwisha tu saa hii"
So, in the wazua spirit, let's be posting the outlets that have stock.
And by the way: since all cylinders now have identical nozzles that fit identical regulators, Total, KK and Shell agreed to accept one another's cylinders.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
