Pastor - Consider something more inspirational, e.g. personal development, achieving their full potential, avoiding/dealing with peer pressure. Stuff like this would be more relevant in my view for this age bracket....too young to deal with complex adult stuff along the lines you are thinking.

This is why i feel nothing for titles.

You were invited because you are a "Pastor".

99% of your audience have probably never known you nor will they ever know you after that.

Meaning... you will never be appraised by that group based on who you are as a person i.e your character.

If this is the way you were to approach motivating children to some higher ideals i literally shudder at the thought of how you would preach the Gospel.

If you are really a pastor i urge you seriously re examine yourself and your chosen profession.

Shame on you let's keep to the topic. No need to attack personalities or the good office of the pastor.

Thank you all ....I believe its the dream of every upright generation to strive to see the next generation becoming better off than they are, and for every generation to strive to be better off than the past generation.........personally I would feel like failure(economically) if I achieve below what my parents achieved.

Don't forget to let them know that they can be better off by setting up C130, Jumbo Jet, Boeing 777 or Helicopter ministries!!!

Pastor..I will always advice my kids to strive to achieve more than me..If I didn't complete basic education(for whatever reasons)
-I will advice and struggle that they may achieve university education.
-If I had one cow,I will advice and pray that they have several cows
-I I was a lowly paid office messenger,I would pray that my kids become MDs,CEOs etc.
-etc,etc

However you need to advice them to follow their dreams not forgetting this is a harsh world which ussually judges one by his/her economic abilities.

Also advice them to read the book,'Rich dad, poor dad'.

plus @magigi's advice

Good luck
Hope is not a strategy
