There has been a lot of fuss about KTN. I think this is one of the best stations around. It used to be the best in news but for me I feel like it is slowly going down. On news I think NTV is really trying. On entertainment I think KTN still rules. It brings us the likes of X-Files,CSI,24,Prison Break,The Practice .... and other award winning shows...Citizen does well on locals. I hear Tahidi High and Papa gives them a lot of money. NTV is really trying to catch up on that. K24 inajaribu,especially Jeff's Capital Talk. Their news is also very well researched and detailed. My best station is Family TV due to its Christan approach,programmes e.t.c. My ranks are Family TV KTN NTV Citizen K24 Anything else that will come after these KBC Classic Kiss TV Don't just think about the news only. Kenya Broadcasting Corporation
They lead others follow,citizen has 75% staff who started from KBC,programme wise Citizen copied KBC by bringing Philipines Programmes. Citizen is full of KBC. Citizen has now copied Classic by bringing Nigerian movies
KBC is no one in terms of programmes

Amazingly KBC with all the state resources should have the best network and clearest signal,not to mention digital systems. As a public broadcaster they owe us this..I think it high time michuki was made information minister and heads should roll

I hardly watch TV but a recent research by Synovate puts Citizen as the most popular TV station. Lord, thank you!

Citizen and then dstv channels supersports,action and national geographic channels among others. Me thinks ktn is highly overated,my 2 pence

Citizen is numero uno.sme yrs bac i cldnt watch it bt luk @ local progs lyk tahidi plus the anöyn soap operas,guys r glud 2 it. No 2 ntv No 3 ktn 4 kbc 5.k24 6.familytv(i wldnt rate em highly they'r complacent coz of lac of compe) 7.al th rest The wicked flee even when no one is pursuing... Citizen is tops due to local programming (and quality ones too or should i call them entertaining). KTN,NTV,K24 e.t.c may be good in news but when it comes to those foreign programmes,i don't think they entertain any more. By the time they were showing 24 season 1,guys were watching season 3 on DVD. I'm surprised Akowally watches the old series. Just get the DVDs and catch up on other programmes during the times those series are being aired.

@ Tito44 Do you know why they call 24 the mother of all seasons? It is because the popularity of season 1 led to guys starting to buy seasons. Those days people were only talking about the new 24 seasons as they came. Then came Prison Break ..... It first aired on KTN. I don't dispute anyone's list because everyone has their own preferences. But on entertainment KTN nails it for me. I ilke Citizen for the way they took locals to just another level....But that is where it all ends .... I am talking about the overall thing...and that is why Family is my best.... anyway so far we got Citizen on top....and counting .... When we pray in praise to God,he makes a difference in our lives. And Tito44 by the way I have watched all the 24 seasons and am eagerly waiting for ssn 8,it is actually my best season... Now on another note. What is your favorite program on Telly? Mine,Joel Osteen,John Hagee,24,Prison Break,DayBreak,Tahidi High I think they should form another channel and put soaps when the men are not there.... like late nights or during the day.... they compete with a lot other programs... and now there are soaps like at all times ... night..day...evening....
