Now that Mpesa has pulled a sharp profit wipe-out shocker, let's see if the 2.90 guard-rail can withstand the shock. I have been seeing a shakedown trying to force the level down and this will probably be the ice breaker.

If I were still in trade I'd be sweating & in hiding away from wazua. Or would start using the 'my friend' statement...

Where are we in the whole Eurozone debt crisis, strengthening local currency, high interest rate. vis a vis the stock market. The dynamics have changed slightly for the better, where does that leave the N.S.E

NSE's saviour will be a low interest regime. Until then, any bull will meet its match at stage 3,500pts!

1. We or our banks have no exposure to Western sovereign debt crisis (same as 08/09), 2. The CBK and the rains are doing a great job taming (import) inflation expectations (stronger KES), 3. Factor no.2 will restore the real economy/mainstreet (remember Kenya is still predominantly a cash economy, thank goodness, thus savings on basics will be felt instantly) 4. Investors will enjoy after factors 2 & 3 are successful and stable and then CBK will loosen the noose on rates and everyone will be happy smile For now we restore the real economy/mainstreet so we can be busy accumulating stocks in anticipation.

P.S: viewing stocks as a means to an end rather than an end in itself is a key factor to successful investing & peace of mind. That way u have control over and can manage ur expectations on an ongoing basis as life/business is indeed dynamic in itself.
