Bralirwa has declared an interim Dividend of RWF 7.3 for the shareholders who were in the register as at 09.11.11 payable on 30.11.11.There you have it guys.You have an early Christmas present!

1 KES= 6.25 RWF the dividend translates to approximately 1.15 KES.

That what I have been complaining to NSE,CMA why kenyans Firms announce dividends and bonuses with a long period of books closure 2 to 3 months which keeps the market in suspension and free fall once books are closed. The CMA and NSE should come up with the longest period being a month and shortest being on the spot or day of announcement. See some companies declared dividend on October2011 with books closing January 2012.One main reason investors are tired of NSE!

Some companies ukiona wanashindwa kulipa divs haraka, its could be a laxk of cash. There was a time Access Kenya delayed dividend payment for a very very long time.

The share went exdiv on 09.11.2011 yet the announcement of the div was made on 10.11.2011. Talk of surprising/confusing a market

Have you seen safcom?? They announce results in may, books closure in september/october and payment december...

Thats a clean 8 months between declaration and payment of dividend... Sad
